About JJ Little Sport Stars

JJ Little Sport Stars was founded in 2023 by Jodie Baker. Jodie is a Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) teacher and is Special Educational Needs (SEN) trained, so has extensive experience working with children and young people, and knows how to give them the best experiences to really help them grow and thrive.

She realised that working in a school afforded her the opportunity to do something amazing for other children as well during the school holidays. Knowing the importance of keeping active in relation to mental health, JJ Little Sport Stars was born.

What JJ Little Sport Stars Can Do For Your Child

Children thrive when they are being active and having fun, so a Multi-Sport Camp seemed the perfect idea!

Sports can do so much for little ones, like teach them about the importance of working togther (teamwork makes the dream work!) which they will use in almost every area of their life as they grow. It can also help building confidence, and making friends! Most importantly, for Jodie and her team, IT'S FUN!

The Effects of the Covid-19 Lockdowns and How We Help

With Jodie being a qualified psychologist, she fully understands how children's mental health can be affected by many things, and especially how they (and all of us) have been affected by the recent Covid-19 pandemic and the lockdowns. Children may have become more withdrawn, lost some confidence, and even their physical health may have been affected, due to having to stay home for an extended period.

It is more important now than ever to really nurture your childs mental and physical health, as we are sure to be feeling the effects of lockdown for years to come. Helping children stay active and social is a fantastic way of counteracting it!

Keep them active, keep them healthy!

(and hopefully they'll be worn out at the end of the day too - bonus!)
